Dr. Moran specializes in the treatment of chronic knee pain and frozen shoulder cases, guaranteeing results within two complimentary visits or he doesn't accept the case for care.
Dr. Chris Moran received his BS degree in Physical Therapy from Rutgers University in New Brunswick, New Jersey in 1984. While pursuing his dream of playing professional baseball, Chris injured his low back. After other medical treatments failed, he was soon returned to the field after the University’s soccer team physician, a Chiropractor, helped resolve the source of Chris’ injury, allowing him to follow his dream professionally. After his baseball career, Chris attended Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, Iowa and graduated as a Chiropractic Physician in 1988. Dr. Moran moved to Denver, Colorado where he was first to utilize moving x-ray technology (digital videofluoroscopy) for the evaluation of spinal biomechanics. Through his expertise in this area, Dr. Moran paved the way for other properly trained Chiropractic Physicians to be considered 'expert witnesses' in a court of law.
Dr. Moran also took an active interest in clinical nutrition as he witnessed first-hand how patients were able to slow and even reverse incurable diseases such as diabetes and heart disease. This led to Residency training at True North Health Center (www.HealthPromoting.com), an interdisciplinary live-in Health Education Center now located in Santa Rosa, California.
Dr. Moran moved to Stanton, Michigan in 1994 where he again entered into practice, published case studies of successful conservative care of lumbar disc herniations and continued his nutrition practice.
After passing the baton of the Stanton practice in 2012, Dr. Moran actually quit the practice of Chiropractic and went into diagnostic imaging because he had become dissolutioned with what he felt was the lack of lasting results with manual therapy. Missing the one-on-one contact with helping people, Dr. Moran returned to practice, but this time after going back to school for neurology and Trigenics. This decision has changed the course of the eventual new practice by delivering a way to get the quick and lasting results Dr. Moran was seeking for his patients.
Moving to Traverse City in December 2013, Dr. Moran became a founding partner at Whole Health TC where he specializes in functional neurology and the clinical application of Trigenics, a revolutionary neurologically-based treatment system which re-connects the brain with the rest of the body, immediately reducing pain and increasing range of motion and function. Dr. Moran now specializes in chronic knee and shoulder pain. He is also Board Certified in Chronic Intractable Pain and Neuropathy from American College of Physical Medicine.
